Weakening My Stickler Saboteur

I took a PTO day on Friday. I visited my aunt who was in a facility rehabbing from hip replacement surgery. (She worked like a champ and was released on Saturday. Go, Aunt Doris!)

Whenever my aunt and I talk, she asks me about my flowers; she knows I am an avid gardener. I thought she would enjoy an arrangement, so I put something together.

I wasn’t happy with the outcome. My roses are in between bloom cycles and the few blooms I had didn’t look so great. But I decided to take these to my aunt anyway.

Why?

I’m doing some self-work around weakening my inner Stickler Saboteur that tells me everything must be perfect. My aunt loved the flowers and I am glad I didn’t withhold them from her by letting perfect be the enemy of good.
