Invitation to a Zoom holiday conversation on presence over perfection.

Testimonial

So happy I did it.

It was very encouraging as we are in the process of starting a family and I definitely needed this for the upcoming holidays. I am still adjusting to being a daughter-in -law, even 2 years in. We are hosting my husband's family for Christmas and I was feeling pressure, but I have a better mindset on how everything doesn’t have to be perfect. I need to be present and not feel so pressured and stressed to have it go a certain way. The most important part of the whole holiday (especially Christmas) will be needing to just have quality time with my in-laws. but I think the biggest thing I got from this was about how assumptions make things worse and just make you miserable. When we think we “should” do something, we make assumptions about others and what they think or feel about us. We aren’t responsible for others´ feelings.  Over extension can lead to burnout and make the season less enjoyable.

So thank you! -  Holiday conversation attendee
